The RJ45 waterproof connector connects the thermal camera itself to the Joystick Control Unit (JCU) using an Ethernet cord, transmitting both data and electricity along a single cord.
FLIR has designed the RJ45 waterproof connector with a standard RJ45 port, and it is PoE enabled so you can connect it directly to your JCU without having to use a PoE Injector. It is designed with a sturdy waterproof enclosure to protect against the elements, meaning the connector won't be the weakest link in your thermal imaging chain. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
